1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using BestMove, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. You must be at least 18 years old to use BestMove.

2. Platform rules

You agree to use BestMove lawfully and respectfully. You will provide accurate information, keep your account secure, not impersonate others, not interfere with the platform's operation, and not use automated systems to scrape or overload the service.

3. Landlord obligations

Landlords are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including price, location, availability, and photos. Listings must be genuine properties you are authorised to rent out. You must respond to applicants in good faith and comply with all applicable ZBestMovebwean laws on renting, fair housing, and consumer protection.

BestMove reserves the right to remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, duplicate, or otherwise violate these terms.

4. Renter obligations

Renters agree to provide truthful information in applications and communications, to treat landlords and properties with respect, and not to misuse contact details provided through the platform. Applications and messages are for genuine rental enquiries only.

5. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not post fraudulent, illegal, discriminatory, harassing, or misleading content. Spam, scams, and attempts to bypass the platform to avoid fees or rules are prohibited. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Transactions and agreements

BestMove is a marketplace that connects renters and landlords. Any rental agreement is made directly between you and the other party. BestMove is not a party to your lease and is not responsible for the conduct of users or the outcome of any agreement. Always exercise judgement and verify details before making commitments or payments.

7. Fees

Browsing, applying, and messaging are currently free. We may introduce optional paid features (such as premium listings or subscriptions) in the future. Any fees will be clearly disclosed before you are charged.

8. Intellectual property

BestMove and its branding, design, and software are owned by us. You retain ownership of content you post (such as listings and photos) and grant us a licence to display it on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

9. Limitation of liability

BestMove is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including any dealings with other users.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we believe harm the platform or its users.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of BestMove after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
